  The Skitchin' Insider: Prototype Preview - Longboards

  
  Well, after much snooping around here at the Tech Deck office, I was able to get my hands on four new prototypes of boards set to make their debut in the near future! I'm psyched to share them with you, so that you'll know what's coming up for Tech Deck.
  
  
  
  Something else you'll notice is that these trucks aren't just bigger, they're designed differently too! Tech Deck longboards feature reverse kingpin trucks - check out how the screw is actually towards the outside of the board, instead of the inside. What does this design mean? Much better control for deep carving and turning, the hallmarks of any longboarding experience!
  
  
  
  Definitelya much bigger base for downhill fingerboarding! Let's check them out side by side too.
  
  These longboards come out in early 2012, so you'll want to keep an eye out for them! Experienced fingerboarders will really enjoy the different feel of the longer and wider board, bigger trucks and wheels. Needless to say, no collection is complete without at least one of these.
  
  And remember, these are just prototypes - the real versions will have the graphics you expect from Tech Deck. These will feature graphics from real longboard companies to give you the full experience.
